FUTURE PLANS
- Moving forward we will:
- Ensure that the changes in the new Union Collective Agreement are fully implemented as soon as possible.
- Support and develop the delegates’ network further, especially to formalise protocols of engagement between delegates and the branch and its members, and to ensure that delegates are recognised within the university in their roles as NTEU representatives.
- Foster discussion of higher education policy in light of the Bradley Review and the mission-based Compacts, which are about to be established, ostensibly via a consultative process.
- Begin discussion and preparation for the nextUnion Collective Agreement.
- Develop case management skills so that other branch executive members and delegates may (optionally) participate in assisting with members’ issues.
- Establish working parties including: T&L to address concerns such as misuse of CES; Research; and Promotions.
