Don Gingrich -- Candidate’s Statement
I have worked at RMIT for a total of nearly 10 years, including time in the 1990s when I worked for
IT Services and my time in the School of Computer Science and Information Technology. My early
jobs were in the professional staff category as a system administrator. I presently lecture in System
Administration and Operating Systems.
There are two critical tasks facing the NTEU in the coming years:
1. Properly implementing the new agreement with RMIT to ensure that all members benefit
from the improved working conditions that it provides
2. Maintaining the pressure on the university administration to provide open and transparent
procedures and processes
I endorse the ticket headed by Daryl D’Sousa for Branch President
Don Gingrich
